“Friends of Allison Cargill House” is the name given to a group of people who wish to have or retain links with and generally support the work of Allison Cargill House.
Their aim and purpose is to provide opportunities for those who have been associated with Guiding or for those who have had no links previously but who would now like to give support, to meet in friendship, to be kept aware of developments at Allison Cargill House, to give financial help and generally assist Girlguiding East Lothian in promoting Allison Cargill House as its training and activities centre. The group is entirely self-financing.
Membership is open to anyone who wishes to be associated with the aims of Allison Cargill House and has paid the current annual subscription.

Friends of ACH - FAQ
The Friends were set up in 1991 to support Allison Cargill House and to promote its use. Since the Friends started up we have given about £20,000 to Allison Cargill House.
We have done a mixture of things; lunches, afternoon teas, quizzes and recently filling Smartie tubes with coins. The subscriptions also go to the funds and we have been lucky to receive generous donations. Also, Allison Cargill House has received generous legacies direct from Friends who are no longer with us.
If you are interested in becoming a member of Friends of ACH please email foachcontact@gmail.com.
